The Canadian superstar rock group Nickelback has had a long history of entertaining fans. Their start happened all the way back in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. While the group has had several lineup changes, they currently consist of Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger, and Daniel Adair.
In 1999, they signed with Roadrunner Records and came out of obscurity and into the limelight with the hit single "How You Remind Me," which was released in 2002. The single shot up to the number one spot on the charts in the US and Canada, propelling their name into the stratosphere and beyond. The single's success didn't just come about by accident; it was the result of Chad Kroeger's hard work researching why certain songs did so well and applying those principles to it. The fans really resonated with the realistic story telling and raw talent.
The single came as part of their third album, "Silver Side Up," and contained the band's signature "dark high-octane rock" style that their first two albums had.
